In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am from Missoula. I am married and have two kids. I went to Law School at the University of Montana and I practice law in Montana.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I want to do everything possible to lower the costs living for Montana residents.I think housing, taxes, and insurance premiums are easy targets to lower the cost of living. The primary way to lower costs is to reduce barriers to entry. For housing, that means limiting a municipality's ability to pass restrictive, anti-growth zoning, and reducing the property tax burden. Artificial restrictions on the housing supply inordinately drive up costs, and property taxes affect both owners and renters. For taxes, I want to reduce the tax burden coming from the state and potentially limit a municipality's ability to levy high taxes. Finally, insurance premiums are too high, for both businesses and consumers, and I want to see what it would take to lower them.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Lowering the cost of living for Montana citizens.
