Campaign themes

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am the youngest and only disabled candidate looking to fix Alaska. I have experiance in Public Relations and have worked with Disabled and Special Needs people as well as working retail in the past and in the medical field as a Personal Care Attendant. One of my main goals is to eliminate child support and alimony for residents of Alaska and get a new pipeline, gas refinery and export facility going and create a highway to the lower 48.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

My first goal as Governor is to be the first state to eliminate child support and alimony and grant automatic 50/50 custody unless it is a physical harm to the child. This may stimulate our state economy through "Divorce Tourism" for men and women. As Governor I will introduce legislation to bring expungement for non-heinous crimes to Alaska, why should ANY Alaska have a life-long record for their foolish actions in young adulthood? At the same time I will introduce a bill seeking the death penalty for child molestation, violent rape, and heinous murder. A fair yet tough on crime stance. As Governor I plan to ask the Federal Government for assistance building a new pipeline, gas refinery and export facility thereby increasing and stimulating the Alaska Permanent Fund and it's Divedend for ALL eligible Alaskan's. I will also seek to strengthen protections for the elderly and disabled in Alaska.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Personal Care Attendant, 5 1/2 years.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Where should I start? surviving 2 housefires but losing my 6 year old neice and everything I owned on top of it? Watching my Grandfather bury my Father? Breaking my hip at 27? Going blind at 28? Surviving Sepsis 4 times, MRSA 2 times, surving Staph 6 times? Growing up poor while helping less fortunate kids in my area? Overcoming adversity is not a chore... It's a way of life.

Governors have many responsibilities, which vary from state to state. Which of those do you personally consider the most important in your state?

Al of them, specifically dealing with National policy that inpacts our State.

It would depend on the line-item, anything negatively going against my fellow Alaskan's gets veto'd.
