Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Michael Cruz is a U.S. Army veteran, community leader, and Republican candidate for the Florida House of Representatives in District 46.
My commitment to public service began during my honorable military service, where I developed the leadership, discipline, and integrity that guides me today. I studied Business Administration in Puerto Rico and have remained active in community efforts focused on strengthening families, supporting economic growth, and improving public safety.
I am running because I believe citizens deserve a transparent, accountable government that delivers results. I am focused on lowering the cost of living, addressing Florida’s property insurance challenges, supporting law enforcement and first responders, protecting constitutional freedoms, and creating opportunities for small businesses and workers.
As a veteran, I believe in service before self and is committed to being an accessible representative who listens to the people of District 46.

I believe in creating opportunities for small businesses, supporting veterans and first responders, and addressing challenges that affect the everyday lives of Florida families.
