A retired R&D laboratory technician and a Newborn, Georgia, City commissioner. Actively involved in my community as a member of the Newborn Volunteer Librarians, the Newborn Tree Board, and the Comprehensive Plan Update Steering Committee. Originally from Kansas, living in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area for over 30 years. An avid outdoors enthusiast in horticulture and fishing. Enjoy sewing, knitting, and learning how to make shoes. A people person who never meets a stranger.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
State Education Increase funding for Students with special needs. The current education formula does not include adequate funding for students with special needs. I support a formula that assist local school districts to cover poor district at a rate in portion to local needs.
