Melissa Seale is running for State Senate because she believes that public service is about creating opportunities for every individual and every family to succeed. She is committed to building stronger communities by expanding economic opportunity, improving access to affordable healthcare, and ensuring that government works for the people it represents. Melissa understands that the decisions made in the State Senate affect the daily lives of residents, from the cost of healthcare and housing to job opportunities and the future of local businesses. She is running to be a voice for hardworking families and to help create policies that deliver meaningful, lasting results.
Melissa's professional experience has given her firsthand insight into the challenges people face every day. Through her career, she has worked closely with individuals from many different backgrounds, listened to their concerns, and developed practical solutions to complex problems. Those experiences have reinforced her belief that effective leadership begins with listening, collaborating, and making decisions based on facts rather than politics. She believes elected officials should be approachable, accountable, and focused on serving their communities with integrity and transparency.
Economic opportunity is the cornerstone of Melissa's campaign. She believes that every resident deserves the opportunity to find meaningful employment, earn a good living, and build a secure future.

I am passionate about advancing public policies that improve the lives of individuals, families, and communities by creating opportunity, expanding access to essential services, and ensuring government is responsive and accountable.
Economic Development and Job Creation-
I believe in strengthening our local economy by supporting small businesses, encouraging entrepreneurship, attracting new employers, and investing in workforce development. Every New Yorker deserves access to good-paying jobs and the opportunity to build a secure financial future.
Healthcare-
Quality healthcare should be accessible to everyone. I support policies that improve access.
