Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a lifelong resident of Kansas City, MO. A proud graduate of Kansas City Public Schools. A passionate community advocate currently serving as a duly elected 17th ward Democratic Committeewomen and as House District 27 Representative. I am dedicated, experienced, and an effective voice for community empowerment.

Public Safety - Crucial steps to address the epidemic of gun violence among our youthEducation - Must remain accessible to all. Education is the only way to improve the lives of all residents. Every student learner should be able to enter a learning institution with the reasonable expectation that the will be taught the latest skills, ideas, breakthroughs and participate without fear of retaliation. i.e. religion, social, sexual, or politicalCommunity Empowerment - Remove barriers to strengthen families and neighborhoods
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am personally passionate about our state-wide budget. Ensuring that current levels of funding remain in place to support the many residents and communities that rely on state-funded resources and services.
