In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Growing up in an agriculture and oil and gas family, I learned the value of hard work, building something for the next generation, and not waiting around for the government to solve our problems. As a product of Wyoming public schools and UW, I spent nearly a decade working in the coal and oil and gas industries, specifically in regulatory and government affairs, to lessen regulatory burdens on industry and produce more energy. Elected State Superintendent of Public Instruction in 2022, I delivered major reform for parental rights, career and technical education, school choice, civics and literacy. I protected girls’ sports and kept sexually explicit materials out of libraries. I have a proven track record of delivering on conservative causes, which is why I have the endorsement of President Trump and Congresswoman Harriet Hageman. I’m an outdoorswoman, the UW women’s rugby coach and a cancer survivor.
I’m running for governor because Wyoming deserves more than the status quo; Wyoming needs a fighter who understands our people, our economy, and the threats facing our way of life. I have the experience, record, and courage to lead Wyoming, defend our freedoms, strengthen our economy, and ensure the next generation can build its future here.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I am passionate about making Wyoming a place where our young people can build their lives, raise their families, and pursue meaningful careers. Too many of our best and brightest leave because they do not see opportunity here.
Grandparents shouldn't have to board a plane to watch their grandkids grow up, and young Wyoming families shouldn't have to move away just to find opportunity or afford a good life. We owe them something better.
As governor, I will focus on creating good-paying jobs by strengthening Wyoming’s energy industry, agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, and technology sectors. I'll work to keep taxes low, make state government more efficient, cut waste, and remove barriers that make it harder for businesses to succeed. IAs a ranch kid from Casper who saw her parents claw their way into the middle class, and someone who has worked in Wyoming’s oil, coal and gas industries, I am passionate about protecting and promoting our legacy industries into the future. That includes our energy and mineral production, ranching and agriculture, forestry and timber, and tourism. I am the only candidate for governor who has authored a comprehensive plan to unleash Wyoming energy, grow our mineral industries and create good paying jobs for Wyomingites. And having been endorsed by President Donald Trump and Congresswomen Harriet Hageman I am the candidate best positioned to work with the administration to protect our lands and fight federal overreach that threatens our legaA lifelong Wyomingite and University of Wyoming Graduate who currently serves as head coach of the University of Wyoming women’s rugby team, I am prepared to fight for our Wyoming way of life and our conservative values. The coastal elites think they know better than Wyoming. They would have us believe that our way of life is backwards. As Superintendent, I have fought and won to protect women’s sports, got DEI and activist politics out of our classrooms, removed sexually explicit books from our school libraries, and fought to protect parental rights. Conservative values aren't just campaign slogans to me, they are promises that I've kept. I've fought for them, delivered results, and earned a proven conservative record through action, not
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Education is one of the most powerful tools we have for lifting people out of poverty and achieving the American Dream. My roots as a sixth generation Wyoming ranch kid taught me that hard work and opportunity should count for more than the zip code you were born into. That's why I fight for school choice, civics education, real workforce skills, literacy reform and putting parents back in charge of their kids’ education. As governor, I won't settle when it comes to our education system. This is the fight that determines whether our Wyoming kids inherit a state of opportunity or one of decline. That's the fight I'm ready to lead.
