My name is Matthew Stafford and I am running for State Representative for District 11 because I feel our current Representative has failed, he has failed us in economic growth he has failed us in cost of living and he has not done his job to effectively represent our needs.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I am a new face, a fresh start to actually getting things done in Lansing, I am not backed by any major donors my campaign has been and will always be for the people by the people.We need to lower our cost of living, I know what it feels like living paycheck to paycheck and when I am elected I will not stop until everyone in our community sleeps easier without having to worry about where their next meal will come fromI really appreciate the time I've spent talking to residents and the hard times they face, people do not want another polished candidate, they want real they want someone they trust leading the charge for them in Lansing making their voices heard and that is exactly what our campaign is about, taking those voices and experiences to Lansing where we can change our future together.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am most passionate about reducing the cost of living so that my community does not have to pick between rent bills or food for the week. Reducing food prices and giving our community breathing room to actually enjoy themselves will be top priority.
