In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Iowan, educator, and veteran fighting to improve public education, build Iowa's economy, and protect individual liberty.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Public Education: Iowa's schools desperately need increased funding and new funding sources to improve the outcomes for all children and families. Guaranteeing an annual increase above inflation is vital to the future of Iowa's children.Economy: Iowa's economy is stagnant and entirely dependent on a single industry. Iowa needs a more diverse and powerful economy to help provide for our future.Liberty: All Iowans deserve to have their rights enshrined in law to guarantee their protection from discrimination and marginalization.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Public Education: As a beneficiary of and contributor to Iowa's public schools, I cannot stand by while our teachers and institutions are undervalued, disparaged, and undermined by our state legislature.
