Matt Brass was born and lives in Newnan, Georgia. He graduated from Newnan High School and then served in the U.S. Navy. He earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from the University of Georgia in 2002. Brass' career experience includes serving as a district field representative and chief of staff in the U.S. House of Representatives to Rep. Lynn Westmoreland.[1][2]
He has been a member of the Newnan Rotary. He is a former board member of the Coweta Community Foundation and the Newnan-Coweta Habitat for Humanity.[3]
