Background

Maey Scanlon was born in Syracuse, New York, in 1959. She earned a bachelor's degree in history from Colgate University in 1980 and her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1984.[1][2] She previously worked as a law clerk, and as an attorney at Ballard Spah, the Education Law Center of Pennsylvania and the Support Center for Child Advocates.[1][2]
