Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
An economy that works. An economy that works puts the American worker first. Meaningful work creates dignity, independence, and prosperity, yet many young Americans feel hopeless about finding good jobs or achieving the American Dream. Globalism and decades of outsourcing weakened America’s workforce and industrial base. Reindustrialization is not only possible but essential for national security. America must rebuild critical supply chains and stop relying on foreign adversaries for pharmaceuticals, semiconductors, and rare earth minerals. Energy independence is also vital, as the future economy will require abundant, reliable power to keep America strong and self-reliant.Government accountability serves two purposes: fighting inflation and preserving social programs for the most vulnerable. Inflation has weakened the purchasing power of Americans, making it harder for young families to buy homes and retirees to afford necessities. Controlling government spending is essential to reducing inflation. Programs like Medicaid and SNAP were created to help those in need, but lax standards, fraud, and abuse have expanded dependency and strained resources. Illegal immigrants should not receive taxpayer-funded benefits. Accountability and stronger guardrails are necessary to protect programs like Social Security and Medicaid so they remain sustainable for those who genuinely need and deserve them.American Values. I believe in the American Dream, American exceptionalism, freedom, capitalism, and strong family values. As our nation celebrates its 250th anniversary, we should remember that liberty requires “eternal vigilance,” as Thomas Jefferson said. America was founded on Western Judeo-Christian principles that shaped our culture, institutions, and political system, and we should not apologize for those values. Too many leaders have abandoned these beliefs, creating a culture that rewards entitlement, fraud, and dependency instead of merit, hard work, and production. These are the American values that should guide our future and the principles I will bring to Washington.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about economic policy, workforce development, government efficiency, housing, and insurance reform. I believe a strong economy begins with empowering American workers, creating meaningful jobs, and rebuilding domestic industries. Workforce development is critical to helping people gain the skills needed to succeed and achieve independence. I also believe government must operate efficiently, eliminate waste and fraud, and remain accountable to taxpayers. Housing affordability is a growing challenge for young families and working Americans, while rising insurance costs continue to strain household budgets. These issues directly impact everyday life and are essential to building a stronger, more prosperous future.

Campaign websiteTedford's campaign website stated the following:A Conservative Agenda for Oklahoma’s First DistrictRESTORE THE AMERICAN DREAMAMERICA FIRST. MAIN STREET STRONG."President Trump’s America First movement put the focus back on the people who work hard, raise families, and power this country. But Washington bureaucrats still reward the wrong priorities. I’m running to help build an America First economy that works for the people who fund it." - MarkLOWER COSTS FOR WORKING FAMILIESFamilies are paying more for groceries, energy, housing, and everyday necessities while Congress spends taxpayer dollars like it belongs to them instead of the people who earned it. I’ll fight for lower costs and policies that help families and small businesses get ahead again. Reduce inflationary spending Cut red tape for small businesses Lower energy and regulatory costs Restore fiscal discipline Protect working families and taxpayersENFORCE IMMIGRATION LAW PUT AMERICANS FIRSTEvery nation has the right to secure its borders, enforce its laws, and put its citizens first. Strong immigration enforcement protects American communities, preserves our national identity, and strengthens the rule of law. Citizens must come first in their own country. Strict enforcement of immigration laws End all benefits for illegal immigrants Support deportation of criminal aliens Put American workers and citizens first Preserve our strong national identitySTOP WASTE, FRAUD,AND GOVERNMENT ABUSEWashington loses hundreds of billions every year to waste and fraud while taxpayers are expected to carry the burden. I believe government should answer to the people funding it and be held accountable for every dollar it spends. Eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse Strengthen oversight and accountability Increase transparency in federal spending Protect Social Security for Americans Safeguard taxpayer dollarsREBUILD THE REAL ECONOMYBUY AND HIRE AMERICANAmerica needs to start building and producing again. I’ll fight for American energy, manufacturing, skilled trades, and policies that reward productivity over dependency. Strong nations depend on strong industries, good-paying jobs, and leaders who understand the real economy. Unleash American energy production Cut taxes and increase take-home pay Grow manufacturing and skilled trades Support job creators and economic growth Reduce dependence on foreign resourcesDEFEND FAITH, FAMILY,AND FREEDOMStrong families, shared values, and individual freedoms are the foundation of a strong country. I’ll defend our constitutional rights, parental rights, religious liberty, and the conservative values that hold our nation and community together. Protect the unborn Defend the Second Amendment Stand for parental rights Protect religious liberty Honor and support veteransSERIOUS LEADERSHIP.REAL RESULTS.For more than 30 years, I’ve created jobs, balanced budgets, and met payroll, not built a political brand. At the State Capitol, I helped pass the largest tax cut in state history, stronger immigration enforcement, and conservative reforms that held government accountable.Washington has become disconnected from the people who build businesses, create jobs, and keep the economy moving. I’m running to bring serious leadership, accountability, and real-world experience to Congress.— Mark Tedford's campaign website (August 17, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
