Mark Ashley Price

Mark Price was born in Detroit, Michigan.[5] Price was elected to the board of education for the Highland Park School District in 2020. His experience on the school board includes serving on the High School and Fundraising Committees.[6] Price also has experience working as a City Charter Revision Commissioner for Highland Park, Michigan.[7]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

My name is Mark Ashley Price. I am a former City Charter Revision Commissioner and a former School Board member of Highland Park. My political resume started in August 2006 when I won my first as a precinct delegate at the age of 20. Though out the years of being a political activist, being a City Charter Revision Commissioner and a School Board member has been the highest two positions that I have held. I was elected to the School Board of Highland Park in November 2020 and serve for 1 4-year term from January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2024. I was appointed to fill a vacancy in October 2016 to the 2014 elected City Charter Revision Commission of Highland Park by the other members of that commission. The proposal Revised vision of the City Charter that the Commission made was passed in a special election in May 2019. The main thing that I, as a City Charter Revision Commissioner, helped do to the new revised City Charter was to help bring Term limits on City Elected Officials of Highland Park.

I am all about limited government and more power to the people!! Anarchy!!

I am Mark Ashley Price. I am a current School Board member and a former City Charter Revision Commissioner of Highland Park, Michigan. I was appointed to fill a vacancy on the City Charter Revision Commission by the other members and took office in October 2016. The proposal City Charter the commission made was passed in a special election in May 2019, in which I help bring term limits to Highland Park, Michigan as a City Charter Revision Commissioner. I was elected in November 2020 and took office in January 2021 as a School Board member of Highland Park, Michigan. I also have been active involve in the Republican Party for many years including (but not limited to) as a Precinct Delegate off and on since 2006 and the 2nd Vice Chairperson of the Republican Party of Wayne County, Michigan. I also was elected as a Precinct Delegate in 2018 in the Libertarian Party when the Libertarian Party was considered a "major political party" in Michigan in 2018. I am a Wiccan and a member of the LGBT+ community (I consider myself Bi-Gender and Bi-sexual). Libertarianism and Anarchism are my political ideologies, limited to no government.
