Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Luis Garcia is a retired 28-year firefighter/paramedic, former business owner, licensed claims adjuster, and lifelong South Floridian. Originally from Colombia, Luis became a naturaliz.ed citizen .
He is fluent in Spanish and French and grew up in a Miami home shaped by faith, hard work, love, and strong moral values. Luis is a father of two adult sons and enjoys hustle dancing, community service, and helping others.

If elected to the Florida House of Representatives for District 91, Luis Garcia is committed to meeting with all constituents, including Republicans, Democrats, and Independents, with the goal of helping the community heal, reconnect, and move forward.Luis Garcia is running for Florida House District 91 to bring practical leadership, public service experience, and a people-first approach.
As a retired firefighter, Luis has spent his career serving the community under pressure, solving real problems, and putting people before politics.

Altruism and selflessness.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
To be transparent and a good listener.
What legacy would you like to leave?
To be known as a good human who did as much good as possible , for as many as possible, as often as I could.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
Bagboy at Grand Union at age of 14. I held it for two years in HS.
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Recognizing that not all human beings are as decent and kind as I am.
What do you believe is the ideal relationship between the governor and state legislature?
Peaceful coexistence.
What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?
Reversing the chaos and cruelty inflicted by the MAGA Cult including Trump and Desantis.
Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?
Bipartisanship is the only hope for America's healing.
