Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
Lowell Reynolds is a husband, father, music producer, audio engineer, law student, and business-minded problem solver running to bring accountability, independence, and common sense back to Congress.
For more than 20 years, Lowell has worked in the music industry, where success depends on listening carefully, solving problems creatively, and bringing different voices together. His work has earned him a Grammy statuette, but his career has taught him something even more important: the best results come from collaboration, discipline, and attention to detail.
Lowell holds a bachelor’s degree in business and is currently a third-year law student. His business background gives him practical insight into budgets, small businesses, and the pressures facing working families. His legal education has strengthened his commitment to the Constitution, the rule of law, individual rights, and the separation of powers.
Lowell is not running to serve a political party or special interest. He is running because Congress needs representatives who will do their jobs, protect our rights, and answer to the people. Lowell Reynolds is ready to bring a fresh voice, real-world experience, and an independent mind to Washington.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Restore Constitutional Accountability. Congress has surrendered too much power to the Executive Branch and avoided too many hard decisions. Lowell Reynolds believes Congress must reclaim its constitutional role, defend the separation of powers, and protect individual rights. Government works best when no branch is above the law and elected representatives are accountable to the people.Independent Leadership Over Party Loyalty. Lowell is not running to serve a political party or special interest. He is running to represent the people. Washington is broken because too many politicians put party loyalty ahead of constitutional duty and common sense. Lowell will bring an independent voice, listen to all sides, and focus on solutions that serve the district. Lowell is not beholden to either party. The next Congress is likely to be closely divided. This means that any independent candidate can wield massive power over the House, which means that Nashville could decide the direction of the country.Put Working Families and Small Businesses First. With a business background and real-world experience in the music industry, Lowell understands the pressures facing workers, entrepreneurs, and families. He supports practical policies that reduce unnecessary burdens, encourage small business growth, protect fair competition, and help working families build stability and opportunity.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Constitutional separation of powers, intellectual property rights, economics.
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
Lowell plans to keep as much money out of politics as possible. He does not want to be on the leash of any major sponsor. Lowell will only accept donations or other pay with the express understanding that his decisions are for the people, not for self gain or third-party benefit, and as such, only sway-able by his constituents.
