In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am Lorrie Rutledge, a small business owner in Detroit Michigan. I am running for US Congress in Michigan District 13 to bring to light the current health disparities throughout our district. The recent pandemic our nation experiences brought to light a major problem that persists in our district. We need someone to represent the actual health realities we face and I consider it a humble privilege if given the opportunity to serve Michigan District 13 and help improve our quality of life by advancing our Health Care system.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Poor health is a matter of national securityWe need to completely examine our current health care system and consider areas that need massive overhaul or improvement. We need to help our senior citizens and young adults to shift toward healthier lifestyles.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Health Care, and Labor Market
