In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am an IT consultant with several years of experience working with data and solving complex problems. I began my career in fast food, where I became a manager at eighteen and was entrusted with the responsibility of running a store.

As your Representative for District 87, I will bring that same sense of responsibility to every decision I make. I am committed to doing what is right for our district and bringing practical, responsible leadership to the challenges of the digital age.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Protecting Property Rights & Rural Integrity

Challenging the overreach of projects like the US 23/I-71 corridor study and ensuring that eminent domain is never used to benefit private interests at the expense of residents. The legislature created this "problem" then asked ODOT to solve it with our tax dollars wasted on a study for a highway nobody wants or needs in District 87. I will vote NO to funding this road. I will vote NO to funding anything that doesn't prioritize farms, residential communities, and wildlife habitats. No More Data Centers

I'm in IT. I know how important technology is and I want to help shape the role of technology in a way that makes sense for our district. Building data centers on rural farm land does not make sense. I will do the work to research opportunities for renewable energy like solar and wind while prioritizing the quiet beauty of our rural lives here in District 87.Property Taxes

They're too high. But, abolishing property taxes is not the right answer. If your car's check engine light comes on, you don't throw away the car. You get a diagnostic test to find out what the problem is and then you look for the cheapest quote from a mechanic to fix the problem. That's what I want to do with property taxes. I want to know why the red light is on. How did property taxes get this high? I will then present some real fixes not just temporary patches.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I’m focused on three things: protecting our land from unnecessary state overreach, running a diagnostic on our broken property tax system, and ensuring that any new technology in our district respects our rural way of life.
