Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am the mother of 2 adult special needs children. I have volunteered as an advocate for parents of children who have special needs, people who need help to get what they deserve from the system and older adults. I had a farm for over 20 years and I learnt hard work and patience.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Affordable Housing: People need affordable housing Housing costs have risen faster than wages. People have to choose between groceries, oil and living. Too many Mainers are being squeezed out of the housing market.Access to healthcare: Healthcare as a fundamental human right. Rural hospitals and clinics face staffing shortages. Maine needs to get more clinics/hospitals and staff for them. People can wait as long as a year to see a Dr/specialist Maine needs more mental health services. There are not enough medical staff for what Mainers need.Public transportation: Mainers need more reliable public transportation. Especially in the rural areas. It especially impacts seniors and those with disabilities.

Caring for the needs of our older residents.

My father. He was an honest man who went out of his way to help others.

Honesty and following through on promises.

That I kept my word.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
My first job was walking horses after they worked out. I had this job for 7 years.
Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?
Yes, I do. You get nothing done if you dig in your heels.

The 1979 taking of the hostages by Iran.
