Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
North Carolina has been my home for over 31 years. I have been a civil rights lawyer since 1995, working at my own firm for 16 years before joining Disability Rights North Carolina, a non-profit organization that advocates on behalf of people with disabilities. I decided to run for the NC Senate because there is so much good we can do—and bad we can stop—if we take back the power that belongs to the people and use that power for the good of the people.
