Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Crime Reduction and Public Safety

South Carolina faces persistent challenges with crime and corrections, ranking 42nd nationally. Major Lisa Davey believes that effective crime reduction begins with addressing root causes—supporting families through quality education, after-school programs, mentoring, and access to mental health and drug treatment. By investing in prevention and diversion programs, we can reduce the number of non-violent offenders entering the prison system while saving taxpayer dollars.Quality Education & Workforce Readiness

South Carolina consistently ranks near the bottom in national education metrics, currently at 43rd. Major Davey emphasizes the need to provide proper resources, fair compensation for educators, and smaller class sizes to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed. Investing in public schools today equips students for well-paying jobs and a thriving local economy tomorrow.Women’s Reproductive Rights & Personal Freedoms

Major Davey is committed to protecting women’s rights to make informed healthcare decisions. She strongly believes in upholding autonomy and access to safe, legal healthcare.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

1. Second Chances. I worked with formerly incarcerated persons for over ten years helping them successfully return to the community. I believe in second chances and implementing policies to assist with successful reentry.

2. South Carolina is ranked 43 in Education and has only gotten worse over the last two decades. Our state needs to prioritize improving quality education for all children in South Carolina.
