In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm as a civilian pilot given a field grade of major commanding/flying flights into war zone delivering vital supplies through the air mobility command.

I was commanded under the George H.W. Bush administration for the first time in U.S. history…..subsequently awarded the USAF Air medal and Iraqi Freedom Civilian medal.

Was first responder in charge of air operations evacuating over 5000 survivors from the New Orleans International Airport to safety with only 31 casualties and countless family pets after hurricane Katrina. I was recognized by the Federal Aviation Administration Executive Branch for my contribution for saving lives.

My experience in aviation has enabled me to lobby on Capitol Hill with Congress and the Senate for NASA. My goal was to appropriate funding for the COTS program (Commercial Orbital Transportation System). This would replace the aging space shuttle program with private industry. IE: Spacex participation accelerating cost reduction and red tape which was accomplished in record time. The Dragon Spacecraft and Falcon Nine program replaced the $186,000 dollars per pound cost of the space shuttle to service the International Space Station at a cost of $18,000 per pound saving NASA and our taxpayers billions of dollars annually.

I also lobbied on Capitol Hill with Congress and the Senate to stop proceeding with the shutdown of the NASA MICHOUD Space Shuttle external tanks assembly factory. This would cause thousand

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

It’s time we got term limits into law. I signed a pledge in April that if elected I would co-sponsor a bipartisan bill with senators Ted Cruz and John Kennedy along with 240 sitting congressmen and senators. Benjamin Franklin said in 1789 the terms set forth in the constitution, 2 years for the house and 4 years for the senate were assumed that when you finish your term you would return home to your constituents and families. I quote he said the constitution was not written to accommodate career politicians. Currently that’s all we have. If we make term limits Law this will discourage candidates who want to be career politicians. IT’S TIME.In the absence of Senators ability to pass legislation on the save America ACT we need to pass legislation that enforces the constitution. The constitution states that voters in the United States must be citizens of the United States in order to vote in elections. We MUST enforce this law and pass the Save America Act in its entirety!!!!!I’m in this race that if I am honored to be your representative in Congress in district 2 I will listen to your concerns and will respond with what actions will be taken or not taken. You will not hear Crickets. You will not hear from my Staffers you will hear from ME. I live in Panama City Beach and always will. When I’m not on Capitol Hill I will be in my district office where constituents me speak with their representative. I have reached out in the past to my representatives only to hear the same crickets you have except one. I wrote then Senator Rubio and to my surprise I got back a 3 page email from him responding to my question. I will carry forward his commitment to you. I’ve gotten things done on Capitol Hill already for you!

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Lower homeowners insurance, hurricane insurance and lower deductibles. Affordable housing with help for first time homebuyers. Increased economy and jobs. Better healthcare access for our Veterans and providing a facility for our homeless veterans and others that will deal with addiction, provide help and counseling to get them back into the workforce. Create a coalition from my office to state and local governments to find solutions to accomplish all of these issues and more! Let’s make working together a strong commitment for the future instead of complacency that everything’s going to be just fine without our involvement. It just doesn’t happen by itself!!!!!

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

Marco Rubio! Responded to my email and addressed my concerns. Also after 28 years of public service his net worth is only 1.1 million dollars. Most of which was the increase in the value of his home meaning that he took his pay check, paid his taxes and raised his family without taking a dime from outside interests seeking his approval for money which should be illegal. That’s the public servant I want to be!

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Honesty and integrity

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Transparency and accountability

What legacy would you like to leave?

I increased what I’ve already done for my great country , the free state of Florida and the great people of congressional district 2

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Washing aircraft at a flight school paying for my flight training as a pilot from 12 years old until I turned 18 in which case I became a Certified Flight Instructor while I was a Senior in High School.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

Getting more accomplished

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

Representatives of their respective constituencies.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Holding onto this great experiment call the Constitution of the United States and the Bill of Rights and thwarting even the slightest idea of socialism and communism!

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

Yes. There was a time when working across the aisle was common and expected. My goal is to make that happen again. I have friends on both sides!

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

Aerospace Cardiology

What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?

Apollo 11 landing on the Moon! BTW Buzz Aldrin is and has been a good friend of mine for many years.
