Lauren Schoenfeld is a Wyoming native, conservative Republican, wife, mother, and community leader running for Wyoming State Senate District 5.
Raised in Farson, she developed a deep appreciation for hard work, self-reliance, and community, values that have guided her career across private industry, nonprofit leadership, law enforcement, and public service.
A proud University of Wyoming graduate, Schoenfeld has served as a Sweetwater County Commissioner, Executive Director of the Wyoming Innovation Partnership and is a member of the Wyoming Workforce Development Council. She has also served on the Wyoming Broadband Council and earlier in her career held leadership roles in nonprofit and private business. She has served on numerous boards and appointments.
Her husband Paul is a retired police officer and together they are proud parents to their daughter Letty, and love exploring everything Wyoming has to offer.
Schoenfeld is running because Senate District 5 deserves a senator focused on the families of Laramie County, not party politics or outside agendas. She is a strong defender of the Second Amendment, the protection of life, parental rights in education, and the constitutional freedoms that protect Wyoming families. She believes in local control, fiscal responsibility, and a government that serves the people closest to it so her daughter Letty, and our Wyoming youth can grow up in a Wyoming that we all love.
