In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I am a lifelong Bucks County resident with a deep commitment to my community. I am a teacher of over 20 years, holding several leadership roles including elected Union officer, elected Chief Negotiator, Curriculum Coordinator, and Title I Coordinator. I am dedicated to fairly funding our educational systems. I also serve as a school board director in the Neshaminy School District, where I contribute to the Business Operations and Policy Committee, helping guide responsible decision-making and effective governance.
As the wife of a small, union HVAC business owner, I understand the importance of a strong local economy. I am also a proud mother of three children and am committed to supporting the next generation while addressing the rising cost of living. As the daughter of two retired parents, I believe seniors deserve to retire with dignity and remain in their homes without the burden of excessive taxation.
I am committed to also supporting public safety, protecting a clean environment, and preserving open space to ensure a strong, healthy, and sustainable community for families now and in the future.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
The most pressing issues facing residents of the district are rising property taxes, the increasing cost of living, and the need to maintain safe, healthy communities. These challenges impact all residents and they require thoughtful, balanced solutions.
One of the biggest concerns is the continued increase in school funding costs, which often leads to higher taxes. I strongly support public education and we must find a more sustainable and equitable funding model that reduces the burden on local taxpayers while still ensuring our schools have the resources they need to succeed. I will advocate for increased and fairer state funding, greater transparency in spending, and responsible budgeting that prioritizes supporting our community.Affordability is another critical issue across all generations. Families are struggling with everyday expenses, young adults are finding it harder to stay in their community, and seniors on fixed incomes risk being priced out of their homes. I will work to support policies that promote economic growth, strengthen small businesses, and provide tax relief where possible so that people can continue to not only live, but thrive.Public safety remains a top priority. I support our law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency responders, and believe they must have the resources and support needed to keep our neighborhoods safe. At the same time, we must invest in infrastructure, road safety, and community-based solutions that enhance overall quality of life.
Finally, protecting our environment and preserving open space are essential to maintaining the character and health of our community. I will advocate for responsible development and investments in clean air, clean water, and green spaces so that future generations can enjoy the same quality of life we value today.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
My priorities are rooted in my experience as an educator, school board director, and working parent. I am passionate about fairly funding our schools, supporting teachers, and expanding opportunities for students. I support policies that strengthen small businesses, protect workers, and grow our local economy. I am committed to lowering the cost of living for families, including access to affordable childcare, housing, and healthcare. I also believe seniors deserve property tax relief and the ability to age in place with dignity. I support public safety, environmental protection, and preserving open space to keep our community strong and sustainable.
