Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Fiscal Responsibility and Government Accountability

For too long, Washington has spent beyond its means while asking taxpayers to shoulder the burden. As a CPA with federal-level experience at the White House, Department of Defense (War), Department of Agriculture, Office of Personnel Management, and First Responder Network Authority, rooting out fraud, waste, and inefficiency, I believe government should be held to the same standards of accountability families and businesses expect every day. Congress should focus on eliminating wasteful spending, strengthening oversight, and ensuring taxpayer dollars are spent effectively and transparently.Secure Borders and Safe Communities

A nation's first responsibility is protecting its citizens. That begins with enforcing our immigration laws, securing our borders, supporting law enforcement, and combating fentanyl trafficking and violent crime. America has always welcomed legal immigration, but we must also maintain an orderly, secure immigration system that protects national security, upholds the rule of law, and treats people fairly. Safe communities are the foundation upon which families and businesses can thrive.Economic Growth and Opportunity

Virginia's families, workers, and small businesses deserve an economy where hard work is rewarded and opportunity is within reach. Because 99.6% of Virginia businesses are small businesses, I support policies that encourage entrepreneurship, bring more manufacturing jobs to Virginia, reduce unnecessary regulations, expand affordable and reliable energy, and establish a cybersecurity center of excellence capable of supporting up to 514,000 new Virginia jobs. A growing economy, coupled with fiscal discipline and responsible government, helps ensure future generations inherit a stronger and more prosperous nation.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

The issue I care most deeply about is restoring fiscal responsibility and accountability in government. Fraud, waste, inefficiency, and unsustainable deficits weaken our economy, increase our national debt, erode public trust, make things less affordable, and ultimately threaten our national security. As a CPA who oversaw and balanced the budget for a $100 billion program, managed a $1 trillion trust fund, and served at the White House and Department of Defense, I have seen firsthand how responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars improves government performance. Americans deserve leaders who treat every tax dollar with the same care they would their own.

Campaign websiteFarington's campaign website stated the following:Priorities and PositionsKim’s PrioritiesOne: Expose and eliminate inefficiencies, waste, and fraud in government spending, and reduce the national debtTwo: Make certain Congress passes no laws that impede our Second Amendment RightsThree: Protect and help small businesses growKim’s PositionsSupreme Court: Supports appointing constitutional conservative judges and opposes court-packing.Education: Supports school choice and parental rights; opposes politicized curriculum content.Unemployment: Promotes domestic manufacturing and deregulation to spur job creation.Immigration: Supports border wall completion and deportation of criminal offenders. Adheres to the fundamental principle that the first duty of the American government is to protect American citizens, not those who break our immigration laws.Violent crime: Advocates tough-on-crime policies and increased police funding.National security: Advocates increased military spending and strong defense posture (“peace through strength”)Energy policy: Strongly supports oil, gas, coal, and nuclear expansion; opposes federal fossil-fuel restrictions on its use. Against government-mandated solar and wind energy. Economy: Emphasizes expanded tax base through small business growth and domestic manufacturing expansion.Housing affordability: Emphasizes reducing regulation and inflation; opposes mass corporate housing and investment firm purchases.Healthcare: Opposes government-run models; supports private-sector competition and price transparency.Climate and environment: Opposes aggressive federal climate mandates.Illegal drugs: Supports stronger border enforcement against fentanyl and other illicit drugs.Infrastructure: Supports investment with reduced regulation and public-private partnerships.Social Security and Medicare: Opposes benefit cuts for current retirees; supports going after fraud and eliminating loopholes.Abortion: Consistent with the 10th Amendment and the Dobbs decision, believes abortion policy belongs at the state level. Does not support the proposed Virginia constitutional amendment. Will be a strong advocate for adoption and prevention, and will be a pro-life vote in the U.S. Senate. Racial inequality: Opposes affirmative action and DEI mandates; supports equality under the law.Foreign policy: Advocates an America-First approach and believes a strong military is the best defense against prolonged foreign conflicts.Data Centers: The only candidate who has toured data centers and worked with a White House U.S. Chief Information Officer on these issues. Also has formal training and certification in artificial intelligence, trained by Google, Microsoft, and The Ford Foundation. Data centers are a matter of national security, and they power everything from critical infrastructure to your cell phone. Data centers must be built responsibly and not to the detriment of Virginians, which includes making sure data center energy usage is not passed on to Virginia residents. Supports nuclear microreactors to power data centers and believes they should be located far from residential neighborhoods and schools.Small Business: The only small business owner in this race, knows what it means to make payroll and wonder how you’ll cover next month’s bills. Understands the stress that comes when events like government shutdowns stop the flow of revenue. We need to invest in and support small businesses so they can grow, hire more people, and expand the tax base, which helps keep taxes lower for everyone.Income Taxes: The only candidate who has signed the Americans for Tax Reform pledge to not raise income taxes.Term limits: The only candidate who has signed a pledge to serve no more than two terms.Revitalizing Southwest Virginia: The only candidate with a plan to revitalize Southwest Virginia. Committed to opening first satellite office in Wise County, staffed by locals who understand the people and the issues. Also wants to open a center of excellence to train Virginians for cybersecurity jobs that are in high demand and bring more manufacturing back to the commonwealth.Second Amendment Rights: Upholds the absolute right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms as a natural, inalienable right secured by the Second Amendment (2A). Opposes gun control legislation, viewing it as an infringement on lawful gun ownership and the right to self-defense. (Her parents once owned one of the largest gun stores in Texas, so protecting 2A is in her blood.)— Kim Farington's campaign website (July 6, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
