Keith Swinton earned a high school diploma from Idabel Senior High School. He earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1989, an associate degree from the Oklahoma State University Oklahoma City in 1999, and a degree from Regent University in 2017. His career experience includes working as an engineer.[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Howdy I'm Keith Swinton canadate for Oklahoma Labor Commissioner. Former USPS, NCED and MTSC Employee. Founder of Ref-Works llc and S&H Recording Studios LLC. Inventor, and Entrepreneur bring exsecutive hands-on leadership focused on workplace safety.

I have resided in Norman, OK for over 40 years.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Extensive experience as a training instructor in skilled crafts and trades that are license by Oklahoma's Department of Labor. For instance a class 1 Boiler operator license. Experience in ellevator maintenance, mold and asbestos abatement as well as amusement parks rides inspection.Proven track record in working safely with PPE for decades without injury. Developed safety procedures protocols for maintenance and repair manuals for the USPS.Professional certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in managing complex systems that I will apply to the department of Labor's occupation licenses to improve the process. Executive leadership experience in developing our labor force to meet the needs of business. I'm a problem solver with real world solutions.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Workplace safety and higher pay for all Oklahoman's.

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

President Trump, he has gained the trust of his supporters and has executed his vision of a better future of our nation.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

Pragmatic problem solver with hands on experience and proven conservative principles.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Elected officials are responsible for the leadership, direction the department priorities of the Elected office and to place the needs and concerns of constituents first.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I dream of leading Oklahoma into prosperity and living up to it's potential to become an economic monster that leads our nation.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

I delivered new papers for the Arkansas Gazette for over 6 years an amusement park rides operator for 3 summers at Joyland fun park Wichita Kansas.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

I have struggled for over 2 decades to become a voteing member of The national academy of recording arts and science. Starting a recording studio on my own without the support of friends and family.

What responsibilities of this office do you personally consider the most important?

To make conservative common sense decisions based on reliable data.

Are there any little-known powers or responsibilities held by this office that you believe more people should be aware of?

To provide free safety workplace inspection to business in need of direction.

What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?
