Campaign websiteColeman's campaign website stated the following:Healthcare AccessPromote the improvement of healthcare services and accessibility by prioritizing the unique health requirements of residents in both the bustling urban centers and the more secluded rural areas within District 8. Focus on creating tailored solutions that address the diverse challenges faced by these communities, ensuring that every individual has access to quality care that meets their specific needs.EducationLet’s champion the cause of education by prioritizing robust funding and supporting transformative initiatives that elevate the quality of learning. Representing the independent school districts of Conroe, Montgomery, Magnolia, Willis, New Caney, Splendora, Walker, Huntsville, Coldspring-Oakhurst, Shepherd, Livingston, Harris and Corrigan-Camden is an incredible opportunity to advocate for the educational needs and aspirations of diverse communities. Each district brings its own unique strengths and challenges, and together, they form a rich tapestry of educational excellence and innovation. By prioritizing collaboration and open communication among these districts, we can work towards enhancing resources, fostering academic achievement, and ensuring that every student has access to quality education that prepares them for a successful future. This collective effort reflects our commitment to not only nurturing local talent but also enriching the educational landscape across the region.Veterans & ServicemembersOne of Keith Coleman's main priorities is to advocate tirelessly for veterans, servicemembers, and their families across Texas. He believes that everyone who has bravely served our country deserves the highest quality of VA services, comprehensive healthcare, and strong economic benefits. Keith has consistently emphasized that no veteran should ever experience hunger, homelessness, or unemployment. This commitment will be the foundation of his efforts as a member of the U.S. Congress, as he seeks to ensure that those who have sacrificed for our freedom receive the support they rightfully deserve. One of Keith Coleman's foremost priorities is to advocate tirelessly across Texas for our veterans, servicemembers, and their families. He firmly believes that every individual who has valiantly served our country deserves nothing less than the highest quality of VA services, comprehensive health care, and robust economic benefits. Keith has repeatedly emphasized that no veteran should ever face hunger, homelessness, or unemployment. This commitment will be the cornerstone of his efforts as a member of the U.S. Congress, as he strives to ensure that those who have sacrificed for our freedom receive the support they rightfully deserve.Community EngagementFoster a vibrant atmosphere of open dialogue with constituents by organizing regular town hall meetings where community members can voice their concerns and share insights. Create engaging community forums that invite diverse perspectives, ensuring that all voices are heard and respected. Utilize a variety of platforms—such as social media, newsletters, and interactive webinars—to amplify constituent feedback, guaranteeing that their opinions resonate and hold weight in the legislative process.Women’s Healthcare Healthcare decisions are personal and should be made by patients and their doctors, not politicians. Reproductive care and life saving maternal treatment must remain guided by medical expertise and compassion.Access to safe and legal reproductive and maternal healthcare is fundamental to the health of women, children, and families. Communities deserve timely, practical access to qualified providers close to home.In Congress, I will protect access to comprehensive reproductive care, expand preventive services and family planning options, and improve maternal health outcomes by addressing gaps in access and quality. I believe healthcare decisions should remain private, medically guided, and free from government overreach.Economic ProsperityTo create a vibrant future for District 8, we must actively support policies that not only promote substantial economic growth but also attract innovative businesses and generate a wide array of job opportunities in every county. This involves investing in education and workforce development programs that equip our residents with the skills needed for emerging industries. Additionally, we should cultivate an environment that encourages entrepreneurship and supports small businesses through grants and resources.By prioritizing these initiatives, we can effectively revitalize our communities, enhancing the quality of life for all residents. This strategic approach will empower individuals and families, leading to increased economic mobility and a thriving economy that benefits everyone in District 8. Ultimately, our goal is to create resilient neighborhoods where residents feel valued and have access to the tools necessary for success.Infrastructure DevelopmentStrong communities require strong infrastructure. When growth outpaces planning, traffic worsens, roads decline, power fails, and water systems strain. Families and small businesses feel it first. We deserve better.Within Texas’ 8th Congressional District, growth is accelerating. Opportunity follows, but only with responsible planning. Infrastructure drives economic strength, protects property values, and keeps communities safe.I will modernize roads and highways, reduce congestion, and strengthen rural road networks so every part of our district stays connected to major economic corridors. That means safer travel, stronger businesses, and jobs that provide a livable wage. The district needs reliable water systems, stronger flood protection, expanded broadband, and a resilient power grid. High-speed internet is essential for business, education, and healthcare. I will expand affordable broadband to all communities, especially rural communities, so no one is left behind.Every project must be fiscally responsible, transparent, accountable, and focused on measurable results. It is time for an experienced leader, not a politician, who plans ahead and delivers real results for Texas’ 8thCongressional District.Equal Protection & Human Rights I believe every person deserves to be treated with dignity, fairness, and respect under the law. No one should face discrimination, harassment, or violence because of who they are or how they identify. Equal protection is a foundational American principle and essential to public safety and civil rights. In Congress, I will support policies that enforce existing anti discrimination laws, strengthen protections against harassment and violence, and ensure equal opportunity in education, employment, and public life. Government should focus on preventing harm, promoting fairness, and keeping personal matters free from political intrusion. My approach is grounded in upholding the rule of law, respecting individual liberty, and building communities where every person can live safely, contribute meaningfully, and participate fully in civic life.Freedom - Family - Faith  A vision for America must begin with freedom: protecting the freedom of speech by opposing censorship, book bans, and cancel culture; defending the freedom of the press; and passing measures like the No Political Enemies Act to ensure no individual or organization is targeted for exercising their constitutional rights. It also means getting government out of Americans’ private personal decisions by restoring reproductive freedom through federal legislation that codifies Roe v. Wade, safeguarding access to contraception and IVF, protecting the legality of gay marriage, defending LGBTQ+ neighbors from government overreach, and legalizing regulated marijuana so adults are no longer criminalized for a substance already legal in half the country. Strengthening families is equally essential—expanding the Child Tax Credit to ease the cost of raising children, passing paid family leave so parents can bond with a new child or care for a seriously ill loved one, and ensuring affordable child care so no parent must choose between their career and their family. Families caring for aging loved ones deserve support as well, through expanded access to eldercare by reauthorizing the Older Americans Act and investing in a strong, high‑quality eldercare workforce. And through it all, we must uphold the separation of church and state by rejecting efforts to twist faith into a weapon, passing the Do No Harm Act to protect religious liberty and prevent discrimination, taking firm action against antisemitism, Islamophobia, and all faith‑based hate crimes, and resisting policies that force religion into public institutions like schools, prisons, courts, and the military.— Keith Coleman's campaign website (February 20, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
