In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m a lifelong West Virginian, realtor, wife, mom, and Delegate proudly representing Putnam County. My roots run deep here, and in Kanawha County. I care deeply about the people, values, and future of our community.

I am a commonsense, conservative leader who believes in hard work, personal responsibility, and standing up for what’s right, even when it’s not easy. I’m not a career politician. I’m someone who listens, shows up, and works every day to deliver real results.

I stand for strong families, quality education, and protecting individual freedoms. I support school choice, Second Amendment rights, and policies that grow our economy and create opportunities right here at home, so our kids and grandkids can build their future in West Virginia.

I believe government should be accountable, transparent, and focused on serving the people - not controlling them. My goal is simple: to make West Virginia a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow, and our values are protected.

I will continue to fight for our community with integrity, determination, and a commitment to putting people first.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Jobs & Economic Opportunity

I am committed to growing our economy and creating good-paying jobs right here in West Virginia. By supporting business growth, workforce development, and smart investments like infrastructure and new industries, we can keep our families together and build a stronger future. My focus is on creating opportunities so our kids and grandkids can live, work, and thrive here at home.Education & School Choice

Every child deserves access to an education that fits their needs. I am a strong supporter of school choice, including homeschooling and programs like the HOPE Scholarship. Parents—not government—should decide what is best for their children. I will continue working to expand educational opportunities, support families, and ensure every student has a path to succeed.Protecting Personal Freedoms

I believe government should serve the people—not control them. I will always stand firm in protecting our constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment, parental rights, and medical freedom. West Virginians deserve the freedom to make their own decisions for themselves and their families without unnecessary government overreach. I will continue to be a strong voice for liberty and individual responsibility.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

I am passionate about growing West Virginia and creating real opportunities for our people. That starts with bringing good-paying jobs to our state and keeping our children and grandchildren here at home. We should not have to watch the next generation leave to find opportunity elsewhere. By strengthening our economy, supporting workforce development, and investing in our communities, we can make West Virginia a place where families can build a future, raise their children, and thrive for generations to come.

Crouse issued the following statement regarding her bid for office:

I am running for the House of Delegates because the people of my district deserve to have a fighter in their corner who will go after the accountability of our State Government. People are quickly getting fed up of the Taxing to Prosperity mentality that is going on. We need fiscal responsibility in spending in our government and I intend to push the transparency required for that. Together, we can make a difference. That is why I am asking for the opportunity to stand up for my fellow West Virginians.
