In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I'm a transplanted renter, here by myself, having moved to Minnesota and St. Louis Park five years ago, and retired from the Foreign Service.

I put my name on the ballot to give the residents of St. Louis Park a choice.

My late parents lived at ParkShore in St. Louis Park; after they passed away, I'm still here. They lived, worked, studied, met, got married, and started their family in Minnesota in the 1950s, left to pursue opportunities, and ended up in the Washington DC area where I grew up. They returned to Minnesota in 2018 and I followed in 2021.

Minnesota is a wonderful place and I understand that it was even more wonderful in the past. I want Minnesota and its state government to do the right thing by the people including the taxpayers, follow its laws, and judiciously manage taxpayer resources.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

If voters are happy with the way the DFL has made Minnesota famous, even I encourage them to vote - again - for the DFL and its candidates and incumbents.

If not, or if voters just want the DFL to pay closer attention to the concerns of everyday Minnesotans, voters can SAFELY send that message to the DFL, by voting for me.

If you vote for the DFL - again - nothing will change. This election is your opportunity to take control of your future and that of Minnesota.Minnesota needs Accountability, for the Fraud, for the total government incompetence, for the indifference to the legitimate privacy concerns of women and girls, and for out-of-control judges who threaten Public Safety by letting violent criminals out of jail where they belong.

Minnesota's tax burden is already quite high. Waste, fraud, and abuse add insult to injury. The DFL-appointed Minnesota State Executive Branch is made up of competent professionals who know exactly what they are doing.

The Fraud was, and is, not a mistake.I strongly endorse the Minnesota League of Women Voters Position on the Judiciary, including Judicial Retention Elections.

Until that happens, I plan to Flip My Ballot to Write-In NONE OF THE ABOVE to 'vote' Against every unopposed incumbent Judge.

It's only a protest vote, and won't be counted, but I wish to channel the righteous anger of the people into the peaceful voting booth.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Elections and Voting. Minnesota must restore public confidence in elections by implementing common sense reforms.

Unopposed candidates are a cancer on our democracy. Any unopposed candidates should have to run against NONE OF THE ABOVE; if NONE OF THE ABOVE wins, the seat is declared vacant, and everyone has to start over.

[This should encourage incumbents and candidates to recruit an 'opponent.']

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

Minnesota Senate District 46 Republicans; Minnesota Log Cabin Republicans
