Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I am running to bring common sense and normalcy to the Ohio State House. I am tired of chaos and culture wars. As our State Representative, I will work with both parties to accomplish meaningful goals that will make life better for all Ohioans. Bipartisan solutions exist to make Ohio safer and healthier for our families. The key issues in this race are safer and healthier communities, defending democratic rights, bodily autonomy, public education, and bringing common sense to the Ohio Statehouse. As a social worker, mother, and reasonable person, I am frequently appalled at what I see coming from the Ohio Statehouse. I believe that it is the job of adults to care for children, and I plan to utilize the State Representative role to make Ohio a better place for the next generation of Ohioans. This election is incredibly important, and will be decided by a small number of votes. Our district is one of the most competitive in the state of Ohio, and we all need to show up and vote, not just for the top of the ticket, but for down ballot races like State Representative. I am working hard to earn your vote, and my team plans to knock over 20,000 doors to reach District 28 voters, have meaningful conversations, and connect with our community.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I believe in healthier communities. This means equitable access to support the health and safety of all people in Ohio. As a social worker, my major focus is going to be helping kids and families.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Honesty, accountability, and the ability to listen to and bring people together to get the best outcomes for the most people.
What legacy would you like to leave?
For Ohioans to feel safe, heard, and excited about a healthy future.
