Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m Justin Pinker, a lifelong resident of Austell, Georgia. I’m 27 years old and have served as an ordained deacon at my church for the past two years.
My life has been rooted in serving this community. I run a children’s program and host summer sports camps for children of our community. Providing a place where they can feel safe, supported, and encouraged.
It was through these programs that I saw firsthand how hard life has become for many families here. I’ve had children come up to me in tears, asking if they could take home an extra meal. Not just for themselves, but for their mom and siblings. For some, it was the first full meal they had in weeks.
That changed me.
Seeing hardworking families struggle. Not from lack of effort, but from lack of opportunity. That made it clear, I couldn’t sit on the sidelines. Our community deserves leadership that understands their reality and is willing to fight for them. That is why I filed to run in October of 2025.
Before this, I’ve spent my life giving back however I could. Opening gyms so young men had a safe place to play basketball, building porches for widows, to even delivering Christmas presents to families in need. Service isn’t something I started when I decided to run. It’s who I am.
And as your representative, that won’t change.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Education is everything.
It’s the foundation for a successful life, and right now, our system is failing our children.
Our education system is outdated. It doesn’t prepare students for real opportunities, and too often, it leaves them behind instead of setting them up to succeed.
When we fix education, everything changes.
We create pathways to high-paying jobs.
We reduce crime.
We strengthen our local economy.
That’s why this is my top priority.
I’m the strongest candidate in this race on education because I don’t guess—I listen. I’ve spent time with students and teachers, hearing directly what works and what doesn’t. And I will fight to implement real solutions based on their experiences.
Our teachers and students deserve better.Opportunity!
To many in this district have no real opportunity to be successful. I have seen it with my own eyes. Grown adults failed by the school system. They cannot read, and cannot do basic math. There is no real plan for when this happens. But yet every year only about 30% of our high school seniors test fully ready for college.
We will bring back opportunity. Whether its trade skills, mentorship programs, internships or financial literacy. Everyone who calls GA-06 home will have an opportunity to be successful from their hard work.Affordability!
The economy is strong for some, but not for others. Until it is strong for everyone, it is not strong enough.
We will work endlessly to make sure no child, no family, no individual who works hard cannot afford food.
No one should have to choose between paying their rent and feeding their kids.
But they are, and I have seen it.
And I will fight to end this tragedy.
Prices must come down. No one can keep living this way.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Education. Investing in the future is dear to me. That is why I have volunteered as a sports coach for years. Having a positive male role model is important.
And watching these children get older, but not progressing in school like they should, should be a concern for us all.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Being able to listen.
Today is so made up of who can talk more, who can get more views on social media. When in reality, it should be who is listening to my needs, and willing to work with anyone to find a way to solve it.
We may not agree on every issue, but you still deserve to be heard.
What legacy would you like to leave?
A legacy of servant-hood. As a public servant, it is critical we all strive to work for our constituents, and not get rich while they suffer.
What is something that has been a struggle in your life?
Being told the younger generation needs to step up and do more. Then when I do, I get told I am to young.
What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?
Honestly, ourselves. We are getting to a point where neither side will listen or wants to associate with the other. We are destroying ourselves from within.
That's why finding someone who can relate to both sides is so critical. And with my experience I am the right candidate to bridge this growing divide.
