In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’ve served my community in ways both large and small - as State Representative, running the Westford Food Shelf, being on our community’s Selectboard, and sitting on the Boards for the Westford Common Hall and Chittenden County Communications Union District. These experiences have allowed me to get to know so many of you and work for the benefit of our community. It would be an honor to bring these experiences to bear back at the Statehouse in 2026 as your State Representative.
I feel called to help create better systems for hardworking Vermonters, to make living and working in our state the best it can be. We are facing an affordability crisis here and across the nation, but I don’t believe that cutting everything to the bone will lead to prosperity. We need smart investments in housing, education, healthcare, and other systems that allow Vermonters to contribute to a vibrant economy.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Housing is the cornerstone issue facing our state today. Without enough housing for Vermonters of all economic backgrounds, we will fail to support our business community with a stable workforce. And we’ve shown that investment in housing does work. In 2025, Vermont built more homes than we have in years, due in large part to investments made in housing when I was in office.I support the recommendations of the Redistricting Task Force, which say that creating cooperative districts for shared services will be much more effective than forcing district mergers. If reelected, I will also work to end the failed experiment of consolidating all teacher healthcare plans and move to either give the power back to the districts or roll teachers into the state’s healthcare plan. The current system is driving unnecessary costs.Vermonters continue to struggle to afford basic care, while community hospitals and medical providers also struggle. We need to continue to make progress in Vermont on things such as reducing costs for diagnostic tests and limiting the mountain of paperwork faced by providers due to insurance company requests. When addressing concerns, we need to keep Vermont patients at the center of our decision-making.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
housing, education, commerce, tax policy
