In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a public servant, community advocate, and current President of the Haverford Township Board of Commissioners running to bring energetic, responsive leadership to Pennsylvania’s 166th District. With more than 15 years of experience in government, nonprofit leadership, and community engagement, I have built a reputation for showing up, listening to residents, and delivering results.

As a lifelong advocate for stronger communities and accessible government, I have worked on issues ranging from public safety and environmental protection to economic development, public transit, and support for working families. In Haverford Township, I have prioritized transparent government, strong constituent communication, accessibility, and bringing resources back to the community. I regularly host town halls, publish weekly updates, and work collaboratively to move important projects forward.

I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Pittsburgh and my Bachelor of Social Work from Temple University. My professional background in intergovernmental affairs, public policy, and coalition-building has given me firsthand experience navigating government and advocating effectively for local communities.

As a wife, mother, and longtime Havertown resident, I understand the everyday challenges families face. I believe government works best when leaders are accessible, engaged, and focused on improving people’s daily lives.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Voters should choose me because I’m ready to be a representative who shows up, listens, and delivers on the issues facing our community. I’m not a single-issue candidate. At a time when voting rights, women’s rights, civil rights, public education, Medicaid, food assistance, and other essential programs are under threat, we need someone in Harrisburg who understands these challenges are connected and is prepared to fight for all of them, not merely the one he has expertise in. I will advocate for strong public schools, reliable public transit, affordable housing, and the resources families need to thrive. I have a proven record of tackling complex challenges, building consensus, and delivering real results for the people I serve.I understand that getting things done in Harrisburg requires building strong relationships. Throughout my public service, I’ve worked within my party and across the aisle to move important initiatives forward, and I will bring that same collaborative approach to Harrisburg. During this race, I’ve heard from too many residents who feel unheard or dismissed because their concerns were considered outside our representative’s “wheelhouse.” That is not acceptable. If a constituent brings me a concern, it becomes my responsibility to listen, learn more, engage, and work toward a solution. Representation means showing up for every issue that matters to the people you serve.I will redefine constituent service in the 166th District. On day one, I will open a fully ADA-accessible district office because government should be accessible to everyone. I will hold regular town halls, publish a consistent newsletter, expand satellite office locations, and host resource-driven events like senior fairs, children’s fairs, and SEPTA ID clinics that meet people where they are. I will also work aggressively to bring state grants home so Haverford and Marple have the funding they need for critical projects and improvements. I know and love this community, understand its challenges and opportunities, and am ready to serve as a present, experienced, and effective representative for the 166th District.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

My top priorities are fully funding public education, protecting voting rights and civil rights, reproductive freedom, paid family leave and affordable childcare; strengthening public transit, supporting small businesses, and ensuring families have access to affordable housing, healthcare, Medicaid, food assistance, and other essential services. I will work to keep our neighborhoods safe, protect the environment, and bring state funding back to our community for critical local projects. I also believe government must be transparent, accessible, and responsive. That means regular town halls, consistent communication, expanded constituent services, and an ADA-accessible district office where every resident feels heard and supported.
