In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I’m a first-generation American born in Princeton, New Jersey. My parents are both immigrants who came to America at a young age to pursue a better life. They met in New Jersey, got married, and had my two brothers and me. In 2005, my family moved to Ocala, Florida, in search of a better life.

I attended elementary, middle, and high school in Ocala and worked every summer in my father’s lawn maintenance company. After high school, I enrolled in the College of Central Florida, where I studied political science and graduated.

During my college years, I was involved in a nonpartisan political club that collaborated with the Democratic and Republican clubs to inform college students and encourage them to get more involved in politics. I also worked two jobs simultaneously, one at Walgreens and the other at my family’s business.

After graduating from college, I obtained my real estate license and worked for Roberts Real Estate while continuing to work for my family company. Currently, I’m actively pursuing a career in politics to make a positive impact in Central Florida, where I now reside.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

I want voter to know that I’m Hardworking. I am committed to working tirelessly for the constituents of Central Florida.

The experience I have of balancing several jobs shows my dedication and grit in reaching the goals I set for myself and in serving the community. Background of juggling multiple jobs shows dedication, perseverance. Why? Because this is a complex combination of experiences.I want voters to know that I’m going to be Transparent with them. I believe in maintaining open communication and honesty with the public.

I target to develop trust and take political accountability in the political process by making sure that the constituents are well informed and involved in the decision-making processes.I want voters to know that I’m a People Person. I am deeply committed to understanding and addressing the needs of the community.

My friendly disposition and active listening skills allow me to connect with people of all kinds and to represent their interests in a way that makes those interests seem understandable and reasonable.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Healthcare, social security, and the economy are the three most important policies to me because they directly impact my constituents the most.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

In my opinion, transparency is of paramount importance for an elected official. Voters have a right to know what their representatives are doing, and we, as voters, have a responsibility to listen to their concerns. Openness with our constituents is essential to ensure that our best interests are aligned with their best interests.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

My very first job was working alongside my father in our family business. When I was 12 years old, I began doing lawn mowing and landscaping, and I’ve been working there every summer ever since. I’m still an owner of the family business to this day.

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

I firmly believe that compromise is crucial because everyone has their own interests and demands. If we don’t compromise, nothing will get accomplished in Congress. Moreover, compromise fosters a sense of unity, which is what we desperately need in Congress.
