In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I was raised in Greenville and have always considered it my home. I am a lawyer, a husband, and the father of three daughters.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Government, not politics. We need candidates who intend to serve the people and do what is best for South Carolina. I intend to listen to people and offer them a voice in their government.Education has to be improved in South Carolina. Year after year the legislature is in session for months on end and we still rank at the bottom in national education. We need to listen to students, teachers, and administrators to determine what will help advance our system and immediately start implementing it.We need to drive the economy to help citizens, not just big corporations. By supporting small local businesses and offering incentives to pay better wages, we can start to turn the economy around for ALL South Carolinians.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Education and small business support.
