Background
Jose Javier Rodriguez received his B.A. from Brown University in I.R. Political Economy of Development in 2000. He went on to receive his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2006. His work experience includes being an attorney. Rodriguez also served as vice-chair for the Miami-Dade Legislative Delegation, a member of the Citizens Transportation Advisory Committee, a member of the Community Relations Board, and a Business Advising Volunteer for the Peace Corps. He received Advocate for the Venezuelan Community Award from Casa de Venezuela Orlando, the Recognition Award "for your immense work and cooperation" from Mobile Home Council of Miami, Florida, the LULAC Florida Directors Award, and the Best Politician Award from the Miami New Times in 2019.[1]
