State House
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and raised in Puerto Rico, New York, and New Jersey. Florida has been my home for the past thirty years, including the last fifteen years in Central Florida. My life has been shaped by the values of hard work, service, personal responsibility, and faith in family and community. I am a retired U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer with twenty years of service at sea and ashore. After my military career, I continued serving our nation with USDA and DHS, including ten years with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Most recently, I served as Branch Chief for Budget, Assets, and Financial Management for the Southeast Region. Throughout my career, I have led teams, managed resources, and worked to ensure accountability, efficiency, and mission success. I hold a JD from Barry School of Law, an MPA from Troy University, and a BS in Human Resources from Regents College. With more than thirty years of leadership experience across military, federal, and private-sector organizations, I understand the importance of responsible stewardship and effective leadership. Most importantly, I am a proud husband, father, and grandfather. In my spare time, I enjoy restoring classic cars, collecting automotive memorabilia, and reading history. I am running for the Florida House to bring common-sense, conservative leadership to Tallahassee, protect our freedoms, strengthen communities, and ensure our children can achieve the American Dream.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Safe Communities, Fair Immigration, and Strong Neighborhoods: Our communities thrive when families feel safe, laws are enforced fairly, and opportunities are available to those who follow the rules. I support legal immigration, secure borders, and practical solutions that strengthen public safety while treating people with dignity and respect. By partnering with local leaders, law enforcement, businesses, and residents, we can build stronger neighborhoods and a brighter future for every Floridian. My focus will be on policies that make life more affordable, strengthen our economy, create good-paying jobs, and support local businesses. I will listen to families, workers, small business owners, and community leaders to understand the challenges they face every day. By leading with respect, integrity, and accountability, I will work to earn the trust of our communities while protecting our constitutional rights and expanding opportunities for every Floridian to succeed.Quality education is the foundation of opportunity, and every child deserves access to a safe, high-performing school that prepares them for success. I support school choice and believe parents, not government bureaucrats, should decide what is best for their children's education. Our schools should focus on academic excellence, measurable outcomes, and high expectations in core subjects while promoting responsibility, character, and civic understanding. By empowering families, supporting great teachers, and expanding educational opportunities, we can ensure every student in Florida has the tools to succeed and build a brighter future.
