In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

Aloha. I am Jordan Conley. For the last 16 years I have been a personal trainer, coach, and teacher. Before that I was a bartender/server. At first I worked to better people's days. Now I work to improve people's lives.

I have never wanted to run for office. In fact, I started a non profit called Hapa Mana in 2016 with the goal to integrate society, through sports and educational enrichment, across income and other societal barriers. Look up "non profit on a mission oahu Hawaii Hapa Mana Jordan Conley" to see a short interview of me about it. I wanted to work with the community directly. Covid happened and the government shut down, ending groups who brought people together like Hapa Mana. The shut down started under Trump and continued under Biden. The duopoly has proved many times that it does not care about the people of the US.

Speaking of the duopoly, we know it is the Epstein Class. This is why I am running in the true progressive Green Party. I am not and will not be corrupted like the uniparty. Democrats and republicans work for their shared corporate donors. The Green Party is a people powered party and all Greens will work for you the people!

In office I will fight for national universal health care. If we cannot get it passed hastily for the US, we will do something the dems have not while running this stare for decades. I will get universal health here in The Kingdom of Hawaii. I will fight against all wars and military occupation.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Universal health care. I will try to force a vote on national universal health care ASAP. If that is not working, I will bring it to The Kingdom of Hawaii through a state's rights bill. We will coordinate with other states that want universal health care and run it together ourselves.

We can pay for this with an empty homes tax, visitor tax, and lowering prices by negotiating directly with hospital and caregivers.

Universal health care is my number 1 issue! I will get it passed or expose those who will not vote for it so we can vote them out.Housing First. The homelessness epidemic is out of control in the US and especially in The Kingdom of Hawaii. We will start a housing first program which does exactly that. First we put people in homes. Then we help them further depending on needs. It is far easier to get a job if you have a shower and clean clothes. It is much easier to get clean if you have a safe place to lay down. Many women, girls, and young boys do illegal uppers to stay awake at night because they can be taken advantage of at night outside. Democrats and republicans have caused this problem and are not in a hurry to fix it. The Green Party is. The more of you vote into office, the better life will get for all.Non Violence. I, and the Green Party, are anti war to the core. There is no reason we should be all over the world occupying other people's countries. I would aim to withdraw from all confrontation and change the way the US engages with the world. My goal would be to build and make partnerships with pretty much all countries.

I would pursue war charges against all former US presidents, VPs, and many other warmongers in the duopoly. This would show the world that we are serious about current and future peace. Look up "Second Thought CIA terrorists" and you will see how the duopoly is in lock step when it comes to war.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Health care for all, ending homelessness, taxing the rich, having a living wage, ending war, food security, having public education run from pre k through college,

Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?

I look up to visionary scientists like Jacque Fresco and Buckminster Fuller. They both thought about making society as great as it can be over all else.

I look up to revolutionaries like Fred Hampton, James Baldwin, Malcom X, Tupac Shakur, Angela Davis, Thomas Sankara, Petris Lamumba, Ibrahim Traorè, Fanny Lue Hammer, Stokley Carmichael, and the Black Panthers. These are examples of people who stood up for the people even in the face of danger. Many of these people gave their lives to better their people.

What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?

That they tell the truth. They do what they run on. And they work for the people.

What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?

Executing what they run. Using the bully pulpit to get people excited about and involved in politics. Also helping to politically educate the populis.

What legacy would you like to leave?

I would like to leave a better world. I would like to help push past the greedy capitalist system into one that puts all the world's people ahead of money.

What was your very first job? How long did you have it?

Burger King when I was 14. Probably 6 months.

What is something that has been a struggle in your life?

I sometimes push people away. I try so hard to better people that it can be too much if you are around me all the time. It is great for classes, but not so much in the personal life.

What qualities does the U.S. House of Representatives possess that makes it unique as an institution?

They have direct say in making laws.

What do you perceive to be the United States' greatest challenges as a nation over the next decade?

Stopping the duopoly. If we cannot end the uniparty, we will always be on the Jones Plantation. The duopoly is the Epstein Class is the oligarchy is fascist are imperialists. There is no hope without taking them down.

Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?

It depends. But people need health care, housing, and food. There is no compromise there.

What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?

None yet

What was the first historical event that happened in your lifetime that you remember?

Joe Biden fighting for the first Bush Gulf War and his speech in the 1990's on the crime bill. It was totally disgusting how he said he does not care about people outside his family. Look it up!
