In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m a husband, a father of six children ranging from a newborn to seventeen, and a working Kansan with nearly twenty years in aviation manufacturing and quality control at Boeing. My family is my foundation, and raising my kids here in Wichita is what drives me to get involved and give back to the community that shaped me.
I was born and raised in Wichita, and I still live here today. I come from a working class background where faith, hard work, and personal responsibility mattered, and those are the same values I’m raising my children with now.
I’m running for the Kansas House because I believe our communities deserve leadership that is present, accountable, and focused on real issues, protecting children, supporting families, and making sure people can afford to stay in their homes. I’m not a career politician, I’m someone who believes in showing up, listening, and doing the work.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Protecting Children and Strengthening Families
Every child deserves to be safe, and every family deserves a system that works for them. I will fight for stronger accountability in child welfare, better support for families, and real solutions that protect children and prevent abuse before it happens.Property Tax Relief and Affordability
I’ve heard it at nearly every door, people are being priced out of their homes. I will work to bring real relief to property owners, protect seniors and working families, and push for responsible budgeting so people can afford to stay in the homes they’ve worked hard for.Common Sense, Community-Focused Leadership
I believe in listening first and focusing on practical solutions, not political games. Whether it’s public safety, schools, or local businesses, I will work with anyone to get results that actually improve life in District 103.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am most passionate about child welfare and public safety, making sure children in Kansas are protected, systems are accountable, and families can feel secure in their homes and communities. Through my work with Project Heaven, I have seen firsthand where gaps exist, and I believe we can strengthen protections and improve outcomes for vulnerable children.
I also care deeply about property taxes and affordability. Families, seniors, and working Kansans should not be priced out of their homes due to rising valuations and tax burdens.
In addition, I am focused on supporting working families, strengthening local communities, and ensuring government operates with transparency, accountability, and common sense.
