In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
God, family, state and country are my priorities.
I am a decorated Combat Veteran of Iraq and Afghanistan, and a law enforcement officer. I started as a private in the Army and rose to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. I have served my country at the local, state, at the federal level and internationally for over 25 years. I have been a lifelong Republican, but I am concerned the Republican Party is not fighting for the voters who elect them.
I am married and have 3 children, two dogs, and a cat. My wife and I homeschool our children. We are a Christian Family.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I understand your everyday struggles. I am not wealthy. I had to work from the bottom, and my family struggles to pay the bills and raise our children in a country that feels increasingly hostile to the traditional family and normal, decent people.I will fight for you. Unlike the other candidates, I have taken action and continue to take action to protect our country and our communities. I have risked my life and the livelihood of my family.
Unlike the other candidates, I owe no allegiance to any organization because of campaign contributions. I will represent the people of Kentucky with honor and integrity.
Leadership skills are not bestowed on anyone simply because of a title, and experience isn't something that you can gain through campaigning for a few months. I have decades of experience and education that has prepared me to meet the challenges and solve the problems that our country currently faces.I have bold, pragmatic priorities. I believe we can have safer communities, a strong economy, and secure borders while protecting our freedoms and ensuring that the government is accountable to the people.
Families and small businesses make America the best place to live in the world.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
I am passionate about ensuring the government is truthful with the people. I am passionate about protecting families, especially children. I am passionate about changing the culture of our government to match the promises held in our constitution. I am passionate about removing the corrupting influence of government from the free market while ensuring all hardworking Americans have the highest standard of living in the world. I am passionate about removing foreign influence from our government.
