In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am a lifelong Oregonian born right here in Springfield. I am a father, outdoorsman's and proud navy brat.

I am the kind of person who wants to help and listen to everyone. I shake every hand possible even if it means staying where I am at for longer then I am supposed to. I am also the guy who stays up till 1:00am reading all of your emails and getting to know the people I serve.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

Trey' Law. Protecting the victims of sex abuse and child sex abuse.

When victims choose to pursue justice through the civil courts, very few cases make it to trial, meaning the vast majority settle in mediation. In that context, it has become standard practice for a settlement to include some form of an NDA, which contractually prevents a victim from speaking about matters related to their case. ( Sourced from Trey's Law website )

This is a huge problem I never want someone to he silenced from a trauma they have been a victim of.Education and protecting children

Unfortunately Oregon has fallen short. The education system here is ranked 47th in the counrty. Yet we are 21st in the cost of educating these kids. But wait there is more! Till 2029 there is no graduation requirements. How are we so low if all you have to do is show up? We are failing our kids, we are failing our future and we need to right this ship before it sinks to the bottom.Making Oregon Small business friendly again. We unfortunately have taxed our way out of being business friendly. We also make it so much harder to operate businesses in Oregon. People tend to forget that we are built from small businesses. The large companies come and go, but small businesses tend to stay put. These companies are the life blood of our economy and without them we are dead.

What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?

Hearing from every one I represent. I am the voice of these people. there for no policy, statute or law should be passed without hearing from them and or letting them decide themselves.
