In their own words
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I want to make the the economy of Ohio work better for The People of Ohio. Right now, living is expensive. The price of everything has gone up. Ohio's Attorney General has a key role to play in keeping costs down for you. When politicians and corrupt business interests illegally get together to raise prices for all of us, the Attorney General must hold them accountable. As your AG I will use the power of the office to protect families, children, seniors and consumers from bad actors that attempt to cause harm. Whether it’s taking on predatory lending, price gouging, robocalls, or raising awareness about scams that target vulnerable communities, the office can make a real difference in the lives of working families.Prioritize Ohioans’ safety by protecting our communities from violent crime and vindicating the rights of crime victims.End the corruption from the revolving door of the same politicians, rooting out the waste and rot that is making state government less efficient and responsive to Ohioans.
Our elected officials must be held to the same standards to which each and every one of us is expected to conform. No exceptions. As your next Attorney General I’m not just going to sit in my office all day and blame everybody else. I’m going to go to work for you.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Lowering Costs, Consumer Protection, Anti-trust and taking on price-fixing monopolies, Public Safety, and the Rule of Law
What organizations or individuals have endorsed your campaign?
Ohio AFL-CIO, United Auto Workers, Communication Workers of America, Ohio Federation of Teachers
Campaign websiteKulewicz's campaign website stated the following:Why I'm RunningIn 2025, before I decided to run for Attorney General, I wanted to visit all 88 counties and see the state.I found the same thing everywhere: Ohioans are working hard, but no one listens to them anymore. I hear you loud and clear.Politicians in Columbus are busy playing politics. They’ve forgotten who pays their salary. You deserve an independent-minded Attorney General who will go to work for you every day and do the right thing. It’s time to get back to the basic issues that Ohioans care about. That means taking on corrupt politicians and rooting out waste, fraud, and abuse. It means taking on price-fixing monopolies, scam artists and robocallers, Medicaid provider and nursing home fraudsters, and anyone else trying to rip us off. I’m a lawyer, not a politician. I have the experience to get the job done.— John Kulewicz's campaign website (April 14, 2026)Note: This text is quoted verbatim from the original source.
