In their own words

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

COLUMBIA, Mo. — John G Fraser, CPA, a Columbia-based CPA and student of economics, has filed to challenge incumbent Bob Onder in the August 4, 2026 Republican primary for Missouri’s 3rd Congressional District. Fraser, a political newcomer with a Masters in Applied Economics, says he is running because Missouri farmers, small business owners, and working families deserve a congressman whose only loyalty is to them and to the constitution.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

No party boss, no special interest group, and no Washington donor will ever tell me how to vote. The only people who will direct my votes are the farmers, small business owners, working families, and citizens of Missouri's 3rd Congressional District. That is not a talking point. It is a promise. And unlike some in Washington, I keep mine.I am a CPA with a Masters in Applied Economics. The math is clear: free markets create prosperity, protectionism destroys it, and a government that cannot balance its own books has no business telling you how to run yours. Missouri's farmers, ranchers, and small business owners built this district without Washington's help.I am a CPA with a Masters in Applied Economics.
