John Boyd served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1986 to 1991. He earned a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1993. His career experience includes working as a business founder.[1]

Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I'm running as an independent-minded Forward Party candidate (District 53 - East Lehi/AF), to bring back innovative and respectful policy dialogue, and reduce 2-party polarization and dysfunction.

Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?

The 2-party system isn't working, we need more options to amplify the voice of the people.There is too much disinformation, which is driving bad policy. I will promote fact-based policy.Checks and balances are eroding, I will fortify that.
