Background

John Atkins lives in Shreveport, Louisiana. He earned a bachelor's degree from Washington and Lee University, a graduate degree from the University of Texas, Austin, and a graduate degree from Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. His career experience includes working in asset management. He has been affiliated with Centenary College of Louisiana, Barksdale Forward, the Committee of One Hundred of Shreveport-Bossier, Southfield School, and the Shreveport Municipal Fire and Police Civil Service Board.[1]
