Background
Brennan obtained a bachelor's degree in English from Marquette University and a master's degree in public policy from the University of Chicago. He worked in government relations at the Miller Brewing Company and as vice president of development and government affairs for the Greater Milwaukee Convention & Visitors Bureau. He later led the Milwaukee Redevelopment Authority and served as president and chief executive officer of Discovery World. He served as secretary of the Department of Administration under Gov. Tony Evers (D). After leaving the Evers Administration, Brennan served as president of the Greater Milwaukee Committee.[1]
