In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
With two decades as an insurance broker & coach. I’m running for State Rep to apply real-world solutions to our biggest challenges: skyrocketing property taxes, rising healthcare costs, school choice and public safety. It’s time for a neighbor who puts the 166th first. Join at walkerforpa.com
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
Property taxes in Haverford and Marple have jumped double digits, hitting every family and forcing neighbors on fixed incomes to make impossible choices. We need a new strategy. I’ll fight for tax abatements and residency-based ceilings to stop these runaway hikes and keep our community affordable for everyone. I’m Joe Walker. It’s time to put taxpayers first and protect the homes we’ve worked so hard for. I ask for your vote.In District 166, I believe every child deserves a top-tier education, regardless of their zip code. It’s time to put parents back in the driver’s seat. I’ll fight to expand school choice and EITC credits, ensuring tax dollars follow the student. Your parental rights over your child’s curriculum and future must be protected. I’m Joe Walker. Let’s empower families and fund students, not systems. I ask for your vote for state representative.Healthcare costs are spiraling out of control, leaving too many families in District 166 wondering if they can afford the care they need. I’ll fight for real price transparency and increased competition to lower costs. You deserve to know the price of your care before you receive the bill. I’m Joe Walker. Let’s make healthcare accessible, affordable, and honest. I ask for your vote for state representative.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
As an insurance broker, my career has been dedicated to protecting what families work a lifetime to build. I am passionate about public policy that restores financial sanity to District 166. My focus is three-fold: stopping double-digit property tax hikes through residency-based ceilings, lowering healthcare costs via real price transparency, and empowering parents with school choice.
I see the 'hidden taxes' of inflation and regulation hitting our neighbors every day. I’m not a career politician; I’m a professional problem-solver. I believe public policy should fund students, not systems, and protect taxpayers, not special interests. It’s time to put families back in the driver’s seat of their own lives.
