Who are you? Tell us about yourself.

I am Joanne Shofner running for State Representative. I am not a career politician. I’m a patriot and a citizen just like you. I have been a true conservative and a public servant for over 30 years, not 5 minutes ago. That means I care deeply about our God, our constitution, our county, our state, our families, our border and education, not indoctrination. I am a leader in the field of my small business, a ministry leader, a wife, mom and grandmother. I am also a leader in East Texas politics as President of Nacogdoches Country Republican Women and I will be a leader at the state House in Austin.

I am endorsed by the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz, former Texas Governor Rick Perry and Agricultural Commissioner Sid Miller. Together we will fight to secure the southern border and make Biden pay back what Texas has spent.

The border will be fully funded along with our incredible law enforcement to keep Texas and our country sovereign.

I will also respect and support parents and the right to choose their children’s education with their own education savings account in which 88% of Republican voted for in the 2022 primary.
