In their own words
Who are you? Tell us about yourself.
I’m a long time resident of Farmington, raising my three daughters with my wife. I own a Farmington based entertainment business and I’m the chairman of the trustees of the trust funds board in Farmington.
Please list below 3 key messages of your campaign. What are the main points you want voters to remember about your goals for your time in office?
I want to go to Concord to find more state funding for schools and other town needs, that have been straining the wallets of Farmington townspeople. There are many ways to gather more state revenue, without taxing the middle and working class. Our kids in Farmington deserve the same opportunities that other richer towns have in their public schools. I want to fight to get more state help to better our schools and in return lower the tax burden on our townspeople.I will listen, be transparent and include everyone in town, to be their voice in Concord. Unlike the other candidates in this election, I have no self serving agenda. I’m effected by the same problems others are facing in Farmington and I want to help fix those problems.
What areas of public policy are you personally passionate about?
Schools, affordable housing, utilities accountability/the environment and lowering property taxes.
Who do you look up to? Whose example would you like to follow, and why?
My Dad. He always had the ability to bring people together and work as a team with anyone, no matter their differences. I believe that I am the same. I learned a lot by watching him.
What characteristics or principles are most important for an elected official?
Dependability, integrity and the ability to work with others, no matter their background.
What do you believe are the core responsibilities for someone elected to this office?
To help the people who elected them and be transparent.
What legacy would you like to leave?
That I helped make our town better, more affordable and the schools stronger.
What was your very first job? How long did you have it?
I worked at a convenience store when I was 14. I had a lot of responsibilities and even opened the store by myself on weekends.
What do you perceive to be your state's greatest challenges over the next decade?
Funding important programs and infrastructure. I want to help make that happen.
Do you believe that compromise is necessary or desirable for policymaking?
Yes, most definitely
