Independent thinker - creative problem solver - experienced in private, non-profit and public sectors: Research Economist - worked with privately funded membership organization for CEOs of largest employers in KC working for good quality of life and global competitiveness. Owned a successful research and consulitng practice for six years. Ran a research consortium for Kansas electric utilities wiht a
$6 million research portfolio, first group to measure and publically provide wind resources data in Kansas. Worked as a construction laborer for 6 years before putting self through college. 47 years married to a retired very accomplished 27 year (mostly wiht ELL students) elementary school teacher, two kids and 5 grandkids.
