Griffin was a member of the Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education in Oklahoma, representing District 6. He assumed office on July 7, 2020. He left office on April 15, 2024. Griffin did not run for re-election to Tulsa Public Schools Board of Education District 6 in 2024.
